This Saturday (17th May) is Rockquest...a music competition for secondary students...and like this year I decided to enter by myself. I'm going under the alias of Gem because my name doesn't ring a musical bell at all lol. I am not really nervous as I played my song 'Take me where I stand' to my mate Cory and like he totally liked it. His band 'Old Roman Chant' are also gonna be in it so yeah!!! ARGH!!! I'm on at 4pm so yeah!!! Can't wait!!! I may not be good, I may not be great but I certainly am THE LEGEND!!!!

It is gonna be soo awesome because the other times that I did it I was just the bassist for my band lol. I may not be good, I may not be great but I certainly am THE LEGEND!!!!

The points I got were: THE ACT Uniqueness: 2 Presentation: 3 Communication: 3 Comment: Thanks for the performance THE PERFORMANCE Tightness: 3 Musicianship: 3 Vocals: 4 Comment: Unique and effective voice, sounded great. THE SONG Creativity: 4 Melody/lyrics: 4 Inst parts: 3 Comment: Really good song, nice hooks. Needs a little more dynamic between the verse and the chorus but overall good. The mark was out of 5 so yeah...best marks I ever got!!! The judge was from Autozamn by the way!!! I may not be good, I may not be great but I certainly am THE LEGEND!!!!
